RESEARCH-BASED NATIONAL AND INTERNATONAL EVENTS 

2021 INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS ON CONTROVERSIES IN FIBROMYALGIA 

On June 24 and 25, 2021 FAC’s Research Co- Leads, Trudy Flynn, and Janice Sumpton, attended the 3rd International Virtual Controversies in Fibromyalgia, thanks to the sponsorship of National ME/FM Action Network. 

This Congress discussed some of the controversies surrounding the causes of fibromyalgia and the neuroscience associated with the disease. Also discussed at this Congress were the controversies that that still surround fibromyalgia, its place in medicine and society and the best ways to help those with fibromyalgia deal with their suffering.
