In honour of the 32nd Anniversary of the International Fibromyalgia Awareness Day, Fibromyalgia Association Canada (FAC) is pleased to announce that the following buildings and landmarks will light up PURPLE on or about May 12, 2024.

The word “illuminate” represents shedding light on a topic, bringing awareness, understanding, and clarity to it. In the context of fibromyalgia awareness, using “illuminate” signifies bringing attention to the condition, educating others about its impact, and fostering support and empathy for those affected by it. By illuminating fibromyalgia, we aim to increase visibility, reduce stigma, and promote understanding and compassion within the community. It’s a powerful way to advocate for change and support those living with fibromyalgia.
